Color and Curls is run by owner Cierra Moye, who works as a curl and color stylist. The salon offers color, curly cuts and styling, and bang trims, and it welcomes new clients.
Color work starts with a pre-booking review: clients send a current photo, an inspiration photo and a five-year color history so the stylist can give a price quote. The Color & Styling service is open to all hair types, including curly, straight and locs, and takes about three hours from $300 with the cut optional.
It takes about an hour and a half and includes a custom cut, a wash, treatments if needed, drying, and step-by-step coaching while the client watches, with a complimentary hot towel facial with essential oils. It covers fully down styles only, so updos and half-up looks are not included.
For younger clients, the Curly Kids Cut is for children 9 and under and takes about an hour and a half, with education included. Children need to be able to sit still for 45 to 60 minutes. Payment is accepted through Booksy Pay and Klarna.
Each service is tailored to the individual client's hair, with a look explained along the way so it can be recreated at home.
