CLOUD SPA

Cloud Spa is located on Minnetonka Boulevard in Saint Louis Park and works by appointment only. Clients can reach the spa by text or email, since phone calls may go unanswered while technicians are with clients. The spa is open Monday to Friday 10 AM to 7 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM.

The headspa is the main draw. The Maintain session runs 60 minutes and includes scalp analysis, scalp stimulation, cleansing, a waterfall headbath and Japanese acupressure massage. The longer Reset session runs 90 minutes and adds a clay mask and scrub, a steam cap treatment and a hand massage. Sessions take place in one of two private rooms, each for a single guest, on reclining beds. The spa says its headspa staff are certified and trained by Takara Belmont Japan. Parties of two can book by text or email, and larger groups cannot book headspa.

Trichology is offered in-house by Kelsey Taylor. A 40-minute Scalp Health Check looks at scalp type and concerns and comes with product and routine suggestions. The spa notes this check is not meant for ongoing hair loss. A 60-minute Hair Loss Assessment includes scalp microscopy and a review of contributing factors, with a free 20-minute virtual follow-up. A 35-minute follow-up, available only after the initial assessment, is used to measure progress and adjust the plan.

Lash services are provided by Nicole, who specializes in Korean lash lifts and lash extensions. Nail services are offered by independent technicians who focus on structure gel manicures and nail art. Options include gel builder fills, Gel X extensions, gel manicures and dip powder for existing clients, plus add-ons such as nail art, removing an old set and shape changes.

Policies are set out clearly. Cancellations or reschedules within 48 hours of an appointment carry a 50 percent service charge, and no-shows or same-day cancellations carry a full charge. Double bookings require a $30 reservation fee per service, which is credited toward the service or refunded if cancelled in advance. Gift cards are sold online, and physical gift cards and products can be arranged in person by appointment through text.

Scalp care leads the menu, with headspa sessions and trichology consultations supported by a fixed appointment schedule and clearly stated fees.
