Citryne Rose was founded by Julie Dastine, who works as a salon educator and hair stylist. The salon offers a wide range of services, from simple upkeep through complex hair care, including custom color treatments and larger haircuts.

Trims are priced at $40 for a Standard Trim and $60 for an Overdue Trim. Neither can be booked alone; each must go with a styling service such as a silk press, flat twist or wash and go. If a trim is booked on its own, the salon will contact the client to adjust the appointment, and any appointment left unchanged is cancelled and refunded. The Detangling add-on, starting at $70, handles moderate tangles and also has to be booked with a styling service; very heavily tangled hair may carry an in-house fee. The Relaxer Add-On, at $80, is for relaxing a small section of hair.

Prices vary by hair length and service level. An extra $15 applies to hair that falls below the shoulders, and an extra $25 applies to hair that reaches or passes the bra strap. A perm rod set usually takes up to three hours from shampoo through application and drying. A silk press typically lasts two to four weeks, depending on how the hair is cared for at home.

Clients are asked to detangle their hair and remove oils and heavy products such as creams and edge controls before the appointment. Cancellations and rescheduling need at least 48 hours' notice by phone or email; without that notice the deposit is forfeited. Custom salon packages are available, and buyers become VIP clients with priority booking. The salon also sells Texture Match products, priced from $140 to $230 depending on the variant, offers gift cards, and has an online hair type quiz that recommends products by hair type.
