Color is a large part of the menu. Balayage is offered as a face-frame, partial or full service, and foil highlights come as crown, partial or full. Single-process color is available, along with color balancing and toner, which can refresh faded ends, increase color intensity, add shine and tone highlights. Custom blended conditioners are mixed to match each client's hair color in reparative or volumizing formulas, and the same blend can be used to create semi-permanent colors in the salon. Corrective color begins with a consultation.
Treatments include keratin blow-dry and keratin smoothing services, a collagen keratin treatment, Milbon moisture and repair treatments, K-18 treatments and a Temptress Shine after-color treatment. Cutting ranges from bang trims and men's haircuts to wash, cut and blow-dry and the Diametrix curly cut, which runs about 1.5 hours.
Booking is by phone at 617-965-2691, since the salon asks clients not to book by email or text, and a 15-minute consultation is offered. Hours are Wednesday and Thursday 10AM to 8PM, Friday 10AM to 5PM and Saturday 9AM to 5PM. Cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice, and late changes or no-shows are charged the full reserved price. Children under 12 are not served, and children 12 and older need an appointment. Parking includes two hours of free on-street parking and metered spots along Adams Street, and clients are asked not to use the driveway behind the salon. The salon accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Apple Pay, debit and cash, but not checks or American Express, and tips cannot be added to card charges.
