Membership is central to how this practice works. Individual membership costs $250 per month and couples membership costs $400 per month, both open to adults 18 and older. A menopause-plus membership is $300 per month. Members can book same-day or next-day visits, pay no co-pay, and skip wait times. They can reach the physician directly through office visits, video chat, phone calls, email and portal messages. Membership visits last 45 to 60 minutes and include personalized lifestyle care plans. For Coronado residents, home visits are offered when medically necessary. Visits outside membership are $299 per hour. Membership is not a substitute for health insurance, so members should keep coverage for catastrophic events.
The practice is not in-network with any insurance plan and does not accept Medicare or Medicaid. On request it provides a superbill that patients can submit to their insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement; Medicare patients are not eligible to submit it to Medicare. Health Savings Account funds can be used for services. Lab tests, imaging and medications are not included in membership costs, but discounted rates for blood work, X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans and MRIs are available through local facilities. Medications are prescribed based on medical need and sent to the patient's preferred pharmacy. Active duty military and their dependents receive 15 percent off, and veterans receive 10 percent off, with verification required.
Beyond primary care, the practice provides menopause care that begins with an initial consultation and continues with follow-up visits. Treatment plans can include hormone therapy, non-hormonal options, lifestyle guidance, or a mix of these, delivered in person or virtually. Weight management combines intensive lifestyle programs with medical management, and prescription medication is used when appropriate. Weight-loss medication is not prescribed to patients who are not actively changing their habits. The practice lists metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, hypertension, high cholesterol, migraine, thyroid and adrenal hormone concerns, chronic fatigue, anxiety and depression, insomnia, acne, and several liver, gastrointestinal, autoimmune and erectile dysfunction concerns among the conditions it treats, with the latter group managed through lifestyle-focused care.
