About
Gina Casian is a physician and the founder of Choose Healthy. She is board certified in internal medicine and in lifestyle medicine, and holds the Menopause Society Certified Practitioner credential. Her internal medicine residency was completed at Dearborn Hospital, affiliated with Wayne State University, in 2008. She has practiced as a primary care practitioner in California for more than 15 years.
Her earlier work includes nearly 20 years serving under-served communities. Her clinical experience covers chronic care, weight and diabetes management, metabolic syndrome, geriatric medicine, hepatitis C, liver cirrhosis, and medication-assisted treatment for opioid and alcohol addiction.
At Choose Healthy she focuses on menopause care and hormone therapy for perimenopause and menopause, and on physician-supervised weight management. She is also a state licensed Radiography Supervisor and Operator for DXA scans.
