The spa is on the fourth floor of the Stone Island building, among the boutiques of Oak Street. Visitors use the buzzer marked Channings to enter. The CTA Red Line's Chicago/State stop is about two blocks south and a half block west. Parking can be validated at the garage at 1000 N. Lake Shore Drive, at Oak and Michigan, and valet parking is available at several spots on the street. The spa is open Tuesday through Saturday with shorter hours on Wednesday and Saturday, and is closed Sunday and Monday. Appointments can be booked online or by calling 312-280-1994.

Facials are offered to both men and women. Brow maintenance is usually scheduled every four to eight weeks, and a first brow visit ends with a home kit of tweezers, a pencil and clear mascara. Purchased treatment series are nonrefundable and expire after five years. Clients who have not visited in four or more months are charged as new clients.

Retail products are sold through a SkinBetter Science product portal and an online shop that carries the same products as the spa, with delivery available. Retail purchases can be exchanged for in-house credit only. The spa also hosts private events.

Treatments are customized to each client, from facial plans built after an in-depth lifestyle consultation to brow shaping that follows each client's features.
