Cheryl Renella is the founder of Channing's Studio and she works at the spa as a brow specialist. She began her career in 1975 and has more than 45 years in the beauty industry. Her training started in cosmetology school the summer before her freshman year of high school. Early on she worked on movie sets, creating brows, makeup and hair locally and internationally, and she still does film work. Her makeup teaching is based on more than 40 years in makeup for film, print and special events. Celebrity clients include Whitney Houston, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts and Teri Hatcher. Her main focus is brow shaping and tinting, including a tweeze-only corrective brow shaping service. Before shaping, she checks the brow bone and facial slope with the client lying flat, then shapes the brows to fit each client's features. She also offers microdermabrasion with ultrasound at $185 for a 15-minute session. She and her team are recognized for their brow artistry.
