Salon pricing is charged by the hour and depends on how long each appointment takes. Men and women pay the same rate. The goal is to prevent unexpected charges being added at the close of a visit. Clients booking color for the first time can either schedule an in-person consultation or send a text to the complimentary consult line, including recent photos of their hair and images showing the look they want, before they book. First-time haircut clients are given an extra 15 minutes for the consultation and styling at the end. A curly cut is 90 minutes for returning clients and two hours for new clients, since new clients get a longer consultation and education. Clients getting extensions have their color and cutting done by the salon's stylists, and the process starts with a 30-minute consultation with Jewels.

Booking requests are reviewed within 48 business hours. Changes or cancellations need 48 hours' notice; a cancellation inside that window is charged 50 percent of the scheduled service to the card on file, and a no-call, no-show or cancellation within 8 hours of the appointment is charged the full amount. Cash, checks and major credit cards are accepted, and gratuity is cash only. No refunds or discounts are offered, and post-service change requests must go to the stylist within 5 days. Children and other guests may not join services unless they are providing necessary care or guardianship. Food is allowed, with attention to strong odors and common food allergies, and guests are asked to keep phone use to a minimum during services.

Opening hours are Tuesday 10:00am to 7:00pm, Wednesday 11:00am to 8:00pm, Friday 10:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm. The salon is closed Sunday, Monday and Thursday. The salon says it is inclusive of all people and embraces its diverse community.

Each service starts from the client's texture, density, lifestyle and goals, with consultations before new color, new cuts and extensions, and the stylists work together as a team.
