Canvas Salon

Canvas Salon LLC is in downtown Dripping Springs. Shannon Bray opened the salon after the COVID-19 pandemic, and the owner still works behind the chair some while mostly running the business.

The team includes hairstylists, a licensed nail technician, and spray tan artists. Hair specialties range from blonding and dimensional color to root coverage, grey coverage, low-maintenance color, and hair extensions, and the salon also offers event and wedding styling.

Booking is done online and requires a credit card. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours notice, and no-shows, carry a 50% cancellation fee. Late arrivals have a 10-minute grace period for services over 30 minutes and 5 minutes for shorter services. Payment is due at the time of service.

The salon does not offer refunds but will correct mistakes within set windows: hair within one week, nails within five days, and esthetics and spray tans within three days. Guests for spray tans wear clothing or swimwear covering private areas, except adult female guests, who may choose to go without. Clients should share allergies with their provider, and for esthetics services, medications taken in the past six months. The salon follows TDLR sanitation rules and asks anyone with signs of a contagious illness to stay home.

Beyond services, the salon sells R+Co products and offers gift certificates and gift cards. A private room inside the salon is available for rent for full body waxing, skin treatments, and med spa treatments. The salon is currently hiring a nail tech and experienced hairstylists, and offers stylists flexible schedules, uncapped commission potential, and unlimited time off.
