Wedding clients book a trial run with a lead artist at the studio, usually two to three months before the wedding, and the team reviews the timeline before the final invoice. The trial starts with a consultation on personal style, preferred makeup level, and the wedding's colour scheme and theme. The same artist who runs the trial does the wedding day hair or makeup. Bridal tattoo coverage is assessed during the trial, and any extra cost for specialty products is quoted there. On the day, the team arrives 30 minutes early to set up, the bride is given two hours, and bridal party services are scheduled at 30 to 45 minutes each. Touch-ups at the reception are available for the bride, the wedding party and guests, including a full restyle for the bride if wanted.
Outside its own space, the studio takes bookings at several Charlotte locations: The Mint Museum, The Grand Bohemian, Foundations for the Carolinas, Morning Glory Farm, North Corner Haven, Terrace at Cedar Hill and Duke Mansion. Wedding photo shoots have been held at Duke Mansion. Larger parties or events spread over several sites can book more than one artist. According to the team, it travels for bookings and has worked in places ranging from California to New York.
Outside weddings, the studio offers beauty hair and makeup for portraits, family gatherings, prom, reunions and parties; headshot hair and makeup on-location or in the studio; and hair and makeup lessons in short sessions planned around the client's routine. Editorial and commercial work covers runway shows, television, marketing campaigns and other events, including outside Charlotte.
