byBRICASSO is a one-stylist hair business at 1712 L Street in Sacramento, run by Brianna Duling. It is open on Tuesdays from 10 AM to 4 PM and on Thursdays from 11:30 AM to 4 PM, and is closed the rest of the week.

Color correction and full transformations cover lifting box dye or permanent color, evening out uneven or patchy dye or bleach, grown-out roots that have become extreme, and clients arriving from another stylist. These are priced at $100 per hour with a $600 maximum and a $100 deposit. A standard color, for natural or darker results, starts at $225; a lighter all-over change falls under a transformation instead. A color refresh at $200 includes toner or gloss, or a refresh with a wash and style, and a signature trim if needed, but not bleaching. For smaller jobs, hairline foils at $275 cover up to 25 foils for hairline, part line and block color touch-ups. Custom blonding starts at $450 and covers any blonding service, from a full head of foils to a blonding touch-up. The portfolio includes block color, foilayage, babylights, dimensional balayage, double process, global bleach and platinum work.

Before any color or blonding service, a 30-minute new client consultation is required, priced at $35. A test strand is done in the salon if needed. Hair extensions start at $950 and also require a consultation first. An extensions move-up starts at $250 and does not include a wash, so clients are asked to arrive with freshly cleaned hair. Other services include a signature haircut at $125 with wash and style, and a clear gloss treatment at $175 that combines a clear gloss, a deep conditioning treatment and a blowout.

Booking deposits range from $25 to $100 depending on the service. A 50% fee applies to no-shows and to cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment. For family or financial emergencies, clients are asked to reach out to the stylist through Instagram. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom amount, and gift card sales are final.

Color and blonding services begin with a consultation and, where needed, an in-salon test strand, so the plan is set before any color is applied.
