Brow services run from basic sculpting, which covers shaping, waxing and tweezing, to tints, hybrid tints, dye, stain, lightening and lamination. Brow dye darkens brow hairs for about 6 to 8 weeks, and the stain on the skin lasts roughly 7 to 14 days.
Permanent makeup covers microblading, combo brows, nano brows and lip blushing. Microblading uses a hand tool with a fine blade to create strokes that follow brow hair, and it is a two-session service with an initial appointment and a touch-up. Combo brows add machine shading to the microblading strokes for depth. Nano brows use a single-needle machine to build hair strokes. Lip blushing can be done in one session or followed by a touch-up at 8 to 10 weeks for a bolder color, and the color fades by up to 50% after healing. Each client gets single-use stainless steel needles and blades, and aftercare uses Bowler Esthetics balm and lotion.
Event and bridal makeup includes special event makeup done in studio, which takes about an hour and fifteen minutes, and special event makeup with travel to the client, which is quoted. Bridal trial makeup is a two-hour session. Day-of bridal makeup starts at a set price and can rise with travel, bridesmaid and attendee makeup is per person, and flower girl makeup for ages 12 and under is offered. On-site travel is available for bridal parties of any size. Bridal inquiries go by email or by text or phone, and event dates should be booked ahead by text or phone, including Fridays and weekends. Consultations are not usually required, since goals, shape and color are talked through at the first appointment. Gift certificates and online booking are handled through a Vagaro page. Clients should avoid direct sun for 14 to 30 days before and after brow or lip treatments, and anyone arriving with sunburned skin may have their appointment canceled and lose their deposit. Clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot receive microblading.
