Brow Diva opened on February 1, 2005 and describes itself as the first brow sculpting studio in Rochester. The studio focuses on shaping each client's brows to an individual design rather than a standard template, and it describes its space as relaxed and welcoming.

A visit usually starts with a close look at the brows, followed by trimming, waxing and tweezing. Sculpting appointments include a one-on-one lesson on brow makeup products, color and application, so clients leave knowing how to keep up their shape at home. Clients who have not been in for six months or more are treated as new clients, and the new-client sculpting session includes a TIM makeup application and a brow tint if needed.

Services range from brow trims for clients who maintain their brows between visits, listed at $30 cash, to brow tinting and brow henna. Brow henna dyes the skin beneath the brows as well as the hairs. The custom brow tint method, developed by Deborah Netti, lightens from platinum to light brown brows and deepens toward a natural shade; it is built over three applications two weeks apart. Very sparse brows may still need a brow makeup product to shade the skin afterward. Men can book a brow grooming session, and waxing is offered for the face, chin, lip and underarms.

The TIM Makeup Kit and technique were created by Deborah Netti and Deanna Cahill. The company describes TIM as four steps taking about five minutes with six products. A TIM Makeup Consultation teaches the technique for $25, redeemable in product. The TIM Makeup Kit is listed at $224.99, or $165.00 without brushes.

Appointments can be booked online or by calling (585) 271-2950, and clients can text about availability. Studio hours are Wednesday 11 to 5, Thursday 10 to 6, Friday 10 to 4 and Saturday 9 to 4. Cancellations need 24 hours notice to avoid full-price billing. Gratuities are optional and accepted in cash and check. Clients are asked to avoid perfume and cologne because of allergies and the small consultation rooms.

Each client's brows are shaped to an individual design, with trimming and refining aimed at the shape that suits that person.

The studio describes its space as relaxed and welcoming.
