First-time clients and those booking color or a package are encouraged to book one by phone or video call, roughly 30 minutes, which is not a deposit. Clients are asked to bring current photos of their natural hair along with reference photos. Cuts are performed on dry hair, and protective styles such as braids, twists and updos are offered on natural hair without extensions.

The core service is the BM Signature Cut, which shapes natural hair to the length a client wants. It can be combined with a silkpress, curl definition, a twistout, a natural updo, braids or twists. Hair color and style appointments take about two and a half hours or more, depending on whether the color is balayage, single process or double process, and first-time color clients must have a mandatory color consultation.

Three multi-session packages are available. The VIP Package has four sessions, the Ultimate Hair Growth Package and the Full Experience Package each have three. Packages include a style or cut at the first visit, and remaining sessions are booked in person within a set window. Signature Packages also add weekly hair health assessments, a personalized regimen refinement, a custom at-home care routine and priority scheduling.
