Breeze Skincare & Electrolysis has been in business for more than a decade, according to the business. The studio is underneath condominiums at The Shops of Idlewild on Idlewild Boulevard in Fredericksburg. Parking is off Wilcox Avenue, and signs direct visitors to the studio.

Facials are adjusted to each client's skin type. A standard session can include cleansing, exfoliation, steam, extractions when needed, a massage and a mask. The Spa Facial runs 60 minutes for $85, and the Deluxe Spa Facial runs 85 minutes for $90. The Teen Facial is 60 minutes for $60 and adds skin care education and a deep cleanse, with extractions when needed and a clarifying mask. The High Frequency Facial takes about 30 minutes and is used for mild to moderate acne and mild acne scars; it is typically recommended once every two weeks for 6 to 8 sessions.

Electrolysis is priced by time rather than by how much hair is treated. A fine probe is used to destroy hair growth tissue at the base of each follicle, and a new individually packaged sterile filament is opened for every visit. The studio states that electrolysis is FDA-regulated and describes it as the only 100% permanent hair removal method. New clients book a consultation before their first appointment; the $40 consultation includes an optional trial treatment. Electrolysis appointments can be booked no more than once a week, and 60-minute sessions are reserved for clients who have discussed treatment length with the owner. The studio does not offer laser hair removal or Brazilian bikini hair removal.

Services are by appointment only. Cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice, otherwise 50% of the treatment price is charged. Late arrivals receive reduced treatment time. After two or more missed appointments, a 50% deposit for the booked service is required, and after more than three missed appointments with no call or show, future bookings may be declined. Refunds are not issued for services rendered. Payment is accepted by cash, check and major credit cards except American Express, and gift cards can be bought through the business's website.
