Germana began making honey wax in 2000 and later moved the business to Los Angeles. It now operates across Los Angeles and Orange County under the Brazilian Honey Waxing name, and the Costa Mesa studio is run under the Brazil Glow name by Danielle.

The wax is made in-house from pure honey, with no petroleum-based wax or synthetic resin. The business says this method is gentler than traditional wax and reduces unnecessary pulling on the skin, and it describes the method as removing hair at the root, with new growth taking up to eight weeks to return.

Services are performed by licensed estheticians, and each location is staffed by estheticians trained in the technique. Each client gets an individual glass bowl and steel spatula, honey is never double-dipped, and tools and surfaces are disinfected between appointments. Most locations are by appointment only, some accept walk-ins, and cancellations need 24 hours notice. Clients are asked to let hair grow to about a quarter to half inch and to avoid shaving for at least two to three weeks beforehand.

The menu covers women's waxing from brow and lip to full body, men's waxing from eyebrow trims to full-body waxing, and separate pricing for teens up to 17, who need a signed parental or guardian consent form and a parent present at the first visit, and college students up to 24. At Santa Monica and Beverly Hills, brow lamination and Korean lash lift services are offered, and facials are offered at the Santa Monica location only.

After waxing, clients are advised to avoid heavy friction, hot baths, saunas and intense exercise on the area for 24 to 48 hours. Parking varies by location: Santa Monica uses a nearby public structure, Beverly Hills has building parking for a fee with validation, Brentwood has street parking only, and Costa Mesa offers free parking at the door.

Uses in-house pure honey wax and a method the business describes as gentler on the skin, with each location staffed by estheticians trained by the founder.
