Appointments can be booked online, or by phone or text at (323) 219-5213, or by email at hello@braidsmasterla.com. Listed prices are starting rates for the length shown, and the final price is confirmed at booking based on length, size and hair. Visit lengths range from about two hours for crochet braids and dreadlock retwists to eight hours for Gypsy or Bora Bora braids.
Hair is not included in the service price, so clients bring their own braiding hair, including curly and human hair for boho styles. The stylist can help clients choose and buy hair on request. Natural hair should arrive freshly washed, blow dried and free of oil or grease products, and clients with damaged or very short hair send a photo before booking. Fulani braid clients send a picture of the style they want when they book.
For aftercare, the studio suggests sleeping in a silk bonnet or on a satin pillowcase, lightly oiling the scalp twice a week, and keeping heavy products away from the roots. It says a knotless install typically lasts six to eight weeks with proper care. Deposits are forfeited if the client cancels and refunded in full if the studio cancels.
The studio describes its method as tension-free and says it protects the edges.
