The studio works out of a suite in a professional building on Smallwood Drive in Waldorf. Each client is served one-on-one in a private setting, and because the space is small, only the client being served is allowed inside at a time.

Its core offerings are locs and braids: microlocs, sisterlocks, traditional locs, loc extensions and instant locs, along with knotless, crochet, Fulani and bohemian knotless braids.

Options range from a scalp analysis, which assesses the scalp and suggests treatments without including them, to a bentonite clay detox with hydration steam, an edge and alopecia care program, and a hair loss treatment experience that adds a growth serum.

Visits are by appointment only, booked through the booking app. A $25 non-refundable deposit is charged at booking and goes toward the total. Microloc and sisterlock work require a consultation first, and hair can take time to order, so clients planning for an event are advised to book at least a week ahead. Hair should arrive washed, dry and free of oils or creams. Clients are asked to note hair length and their chosen color from the color chart in the booking comments, since these cannot be changed on the day. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Services are one-on-one and appointment-based, with consultations before the locking services and a color and length plan set in advance.
