Braiderholic started in 2018, when braiding was offered from the owner's living room. A salon suite was rented in 2022, and the fully equipped braiding salon opened in Grand Prairie in 2024.

Booking deposits are part of the process. New clients pay a $150 retainer fee, and returning clients pay a $100 deposit, which must be paid within one hour of booking to avoid cancellation. Deposits are non-refundable, and booking through the platform means agreeing to the listed booking terms.

Clients can book a consultation by phone or virtually to talk through hair and style before an appointment. Before a visit, clients should not color their hair within 48 hours of the appointment and should avoid trimming it. The braiders do not wash hair or prewash extensions. Clients may bring their own human hair or braiding hair, and walk-ins are welcome for quick one-hour styles.

Salon hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. According to the salon, it is a premier destination for braiding and describes itself as DFW's neatest braider and 5-star rated. Reviews on the site describe the braiders as neat, efficient and on time.
