The studio says its mission is to help clients feel self-assured through well-kept, attractive locs. It states that it aims to become the leading natural hair care provider in Central Florida and reports that more than 1,700 clients have relied on it for healthy locs. Booking starts with a non-refundable deposit that secures the appointment. New install clients need a consultation before booking, and photos are required beforehand so pricing and service time can be confirmed. Pricing depends on hair length, density, texture and desired size, and a final quote is given before service. Appointments are released monthly. The studio is closed Sundays and most Saturdays, while select Saturdays are released every one to two weeks at premium pricing. No extra guests are allowed at appointments.
Cancellation terms are set out in the deposit policy. If a client cancels without rescheduling, the deposit is kept. Cancelling less than 24 hours ahead keeps the deposit and adds a charge for the difference between the deposit and 25% of the service price. A no-show keeps the deposit and charges the difference between the deposit and 50% of the service price. Emergency access, a limited accommodation for urgent loc and scheduling needs, is offered Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Eboni Carty also teaches the Lessons in Loc Art class series, which began in Orlando in 2018. A private, hands-on Fully Loaded 1-on-1 Loc Class for aspiring locticians is offered, taking about four hours at $1,000.
Work is built on healthy locs, deliberate technique and long-term loc care, with attention to how each style is maintained over time.
