About

Bora Brow specializes in microblading, a semi-permanent method that uses a handheld tool with fine needles to place hair-like strokes of pigment. Its services center on the brows: the first session, follow-up touch-ups, and consultations.

A first microblading appointment usually runs about two and a half to three hours and covers the consultation, intake forms, shaping, design and the tattooing. Tattooing does not begin until the client has approved the final shape and color. A consent form must be completed before an appointment is scheduled. Consultation and procedure are usually done on the same day, unless the client already has permanent makeup, in which case a consultation comes first so the existing pigment can be assessed in person.

Touch-ups are timed to the first session, and the studio says regular touch-ups can extend how long microbladed brows last. They refresh pigment color and refine shape as the skin heals. Clients whose microblading was done elsewhere can also book a touch-up here.

According to the studio, its artists trained under some of the most respected permanent makeup artists globally. Microblading uses PhiBrows pigments. Bookings can be made by phone, by email or through the online booking page, and new clients usually reserve one to two months in advance. Before an appointment, clients are asked to steer clear of certain active skincare products and to avoid makeup on the brows. The studio also publishes aftercare steps for the days following treatment.

Microblading is suited to firm, normal-to-dry skin with small or hard-to-see pores, and is not recommended for very oily, mature, sun-damaged or very sensitive skin. Eligibility is subject to approval by the artist, and a topical numbing gel is used to reduce discomfort.
