Massage is the core of the menu. Swedish massage is a full-body treatment built on long strokes and kneading, and the spa recommends it for first-time clients. Deep tissue work is more intensive and personalized, aimed at specific problem areas. Pregnancy massage is done in a side-lying position, including the face and head, and is offered during months 3 to 7. The Half and Half combines a 30-minute mini body scrub with a 30-minute Swedish massage. Couples massage is for two people in the same room, in any massage style, and is available to partners of any kind. All massages include aromatherapy and hot stones, and a Deep Tissue Pressure add-on can be added to any massage.
Facials range from the Signature Spa Facial, which includes cleansing, a mask, massage of the face, neck, shoulders, arms and hands, and finishes with serum, eye cream and moisturizer, to Specialty Facials and the Gold Facial Collection. Specialty options include a Deep Cleansing facial, a Hydration facial, a Men's Executive facial, a Pumpkin Enzyme Peel facial and a Vitamin C anti-oxidant facial. Gold options are custom facials paired with microdermabrasion, a glycolic acid peel or a lactic acid peel. Peels, microdermabrasion, LED light or high frequency can also be added to facials for $25 each.
Spa packages combine services into one visit: Stress Relief (a 1-hour massage and 1-hour facial), For Him (a 60-minute deep pressure massage and an executive men's facial), The Retreat (a 90-minute Swedish massage, a 60-minute facial and a 30-minute body scrub) and Ultimate Relaxation (a 60-minute Swedish massage, a 60-minute body scrub and a 60-minute facial). A standard service is 60 minutes, with about 5 minutes to undress, 50 minutes hands-on and 5 minutes to dress, unless otherwise specified. Clients can ask the therapist to adjust pressure during a service.
Membership is a yearly plan billed monthly by auto-debit for 12 months, then renews automatically unless cancelled. Members get 25% off regular-priced services and products (not already discounted or promotional ones), one service placed on the account each month, and a free 60-minute service on their birthday. Membership is for the individual only and cannot be shared or gifted. Membership questions can be sent to thebodycentre1@verizon.net.
Policies to know: services are non-refundable; cancellations made within 24 hours or before close of business the day before are free, same-day cancellations are charged 50% of the scheduled price, and no-shows or unannounced cancellations are charged 100% by credit card or gift certificate. Clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early, and a late arrival may shorten the service. Cell phones and pagers must be turned off during visits. Gift certificates are valid for two years and then lose $2.00 of value each month. Accepted payments are cash, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo and credit card; checks and Spa Finder are not accepted. Listed hours are Monday 9am to 2pm, Wednesday through Friday 9am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm, with the spa closed on Sundays.
