The school has been training beauty and wellness professionals since 1991, and it says it has been in operation for more than 30 years. It operates two campuses: the Boca Raton campus on Glades Road, off the Florida Turnpike, and the Parkland campus on North State Road 7, roughly 10 minutes from Deerfield Beach and 20 minutes from Sawgrass Mills mall.

Students learn by working on real clients. Services in both on-site salons are performed by students who are trained and supervised by licensed instructors. The school says these services are priced below what traditional salons and spas charge. The Boca Raton salon accepts walk-ins as well as appointments, while massage at the Parkland salon is by appointment only.

The schools offer full-time and part-time schedules with day, evening and Saturday classes, and most programs start monthly on a rolling basis. Financial aid is available, including Federal Student Aid, Pell Grants, Veterans Benefits and a number of scholarships, and financial aid advisors assess eligibility. Career support and job placement services continue after graduation, and graduates may work in salons, resort hotels and spas, or eventually own a salon.

Prospective students can book a campus tour to see the facilities and meet students and instructors. The school also encourages students to take part in community work, including providing salon services to people living in homeless shelters, helping with prom services for local schools, and joining charity events such as blood drives and industry shows.

The school says its focus is on education rather than on retail sales of products. Every program is designed to lead to a state license.

Both campuses are well lit and air-conditioned, with individual learning areas, audio-visual tools, a media center, a student lounge and a dispensary.
