Bobbie Glen has been in business for more than 25 years. The salon describes itself as full-service and says its goal is to make every guest feel special and valued, with personal attention and high-quality work.

Every service begins with a consultation about the guest's expectations and concerns. Guests are asked to arrive a little early, and beverages are offered while they wait. Only the guest receiving service may be on the styling floor, so other people wait in reception. Children are not allowed in the spa or nail area and must stay with an adult at all times.

Hair services use Aveda products, and the stylists are Aveda professionals. Nail services use Madam Glam Shellac polish alongside OPI, CND and Zoya. Makeup services use Jane Iredale. The salon also sells Aveda products. The team says it keeps up with trends through ongoing education and professional training.

Hair color is priced by the hour for stylist time, plus the back bar product weighed by the gram, with final prices set at the consultation. Some requests take more than one visit. Where possible, the salon gives estimates for timing and pricing on color changes and corrections, and it will correct a service if the client calls within five business days.
