BLUSH & BROWS STUDIO

Blush & Brows Studio is based in suite 209 at 636 S River Rd in Des Plaines. Its work centers on permanent makeup, mainly brows, with eyeliner and lip color also on the menu. According to the studio, the aim is to bring out a client's own features through brow work and treatments planned for each person.

Brow options range from hair-like microblading, which is meant to resemble natural brow growth and add shape and fullness, to powder brows, which use shading to create a soft, blended gradient. Clients who want both strokes and shading can book a combined microblading and shading session. Nano brows use very fine strokes applied with a digital machine and are described by the studio as suitable for all skin types.

Lip blushing restores natural-looking lip color and adds subtle definition. Eyeliner is a customized permanent treatment that can be kept subtle or made more dramatic, depending on the look a client wants.

Appointments are required, and the studio is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30am to 5:00pm. Clients can book through the website, or call or email the studio.
