The practice does not treat every patient with the same operation. Each procedure begins with an individualized consultation that looks at the patient's anatomy and goals, and the aim is natural-looking results rather than changes driven by trends.

The surgical setting is a single-story facility with a private first-floor entrance and private waiting area, and surgeries take place in an on-site free-standing operating room. Anesthesia is given by a board-certified MD anesthesiologist who stays with the patient throughout, and the anesthesia providers come from Serenity Anesthesia Specialists and attend each patient one-on-one. The operating theater is accredited by The Joint Commission and the practice holds AAAASF certification. The practice describes itself as the only office-based plastic surgery center in North Carolina holding both.

Nurse practitioners are available at all times, including when the surgeon is in the operating room with another patient. Inpatient procedures can be followed by an overnight stay with medical observation at the surgery center, and medical care can be provided at a patient's home or a local hotel on request.

Surgical quotes are described as all-inclusive, covering the surgeon's fee, operating room and staffing fees, anesthesia, implants and medical supplies, along with routine pre- and post-operative care for at least one year. Lab work and prescription medications are not included, and lymphatic drainage is included for large-volume liposuction. Price ranges are published for each procedure, with an exact price set after consultation. Financing is available, and estimated monthly payments can be shared before a patient submits credit information.
