Bloomingnails

Bloomingnails works out of a quiet salon suite on the upstairs level of a building on Bee Caves Road. Services are built around each client's needs and how active they are, with the goal of keeping the natural nail healthy.

The menu covers manicures and pedicures, gel polish for lasting color, and nail art that runs from simple glitter ombré accent nails to full sets of decorated nails. Hard gel is offered as an enhancement in the form of sculptured extensions, overlays, fills, and quick repairs. Hard gels come in clear or natural-looking nudes and pinks, and gel polish is used for color.

The salon uses the American Creator hard gel system. According to the salon, its hard gel uses no harsh chemicals and involves no inhaling of dust or fumes, and it describes hard gel as a healthier option than acrylic for natural-looking nails.

Toenail reconstruction is done with LCN Barefoot products, and the pedicure menu includes the LCN Urea line. Gel polish or gels can be added to toes with any pedicure, which the salon says extends the life of the pedicure.

To book, first-time clients choose a time and service online, then the manicurist contacts them to confirm how long the appointment needs to be. Clients can also call or text with questions before booking. Clients are asked to bring flip-flops for pedicures.
