The business says its mission is to lift up its guests through blow outs and beauty. It wants its bars to feel welcoming to people of all ages and backgrounds, and it presents the experience as something to enjoy on an ordinary day rather than only for special occasions.
Hair is the core of the menu. Blo In-Bar is a walk-in style bar service for blow outs and add-on treatments. The signature blow out includes a wash and can range from a classic finish to runway-inspired curls. Add-ons include scalp treatments, deep conditioning, head massage, a simple braid, a root cover-up, and keratin and anti-humidity treatments. Guests with bonded extensions or hair that needs more time can book those variations too.
Beyond hair, locations offer makeup, lash application, brow shaping and touch-ups. The bar has five signature makeup looks and can also build a look from a client's mood board. Makeup on the Go brings an artist to a location the client chooses, priced by location. Select Blo locations also offer manicures, pedicures and gel services, along with waxing for the face, brows, arms, legs and bikini area.
Bridal and party bookings are a large part of the offer. Blo Bridal covers hair and makeup for engagement photos, showers, bachelorette parties and wedding days, either in bar or on location at a hotel or venue, and includes group styling for bridal parties. Blo Party hosts bachelorette, bridal and baby showers, holiday parties and birthday parties for adults and kids, with birthday bookings offered for kids aged 5 and up, tweens and teens. Bridal pricing differs by market and is listed on each location's page.
Each bar is built around the blow out as the signature service, with a mission-led focus on guest experience across independently owned locations.
