Blitz Suites

Blitz Suites leases private suites to independent beauty professionals who run their own businesses. Tenants set their own hours and are responsible for their own clients, tools, products, and business operations. Blitz handles facility management and maintenance, which the business says keeps overhead lower for its tenants. The business says its independent professionals provide VIP service.

Clients ring a professional's suite number on the building keypad and wait to be buzzed in. There is no waiting room, so guests should arrive at their appointment time. Security cameras are located throughout the building. Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside or in front of the building, phone calls longer than two minutes must be taken outside, children must be accompanied by an adult, and pets are not allowed. The building must be fully cleared by 10 PM, and early entry or late exit is not permitted.

The braiding area is a two-room space with eight chairs and one small private room, and each room has a television. Daily braider chair rentals are available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. A weekday rental with a braider stool is $42, a weekend rental with a stool is $47, and a private room rents for $67 per day. Each braider rental includes a braiding chair, braid rack, rolling chart, and electric kettle, with an optional stool. Towels are not provided to braider renters, and braiding is non-chemical only, so color, relaxers, perms, bleaching, and chemical treatments are not permitted. Braider rentals are final sale, with no refunds, cancellations, reschedules, or credits, including for no-shows.

Hairstylists, barbers, estheticians, lash techs, and massage therapists must be licensed to lease a suite. Braiders do not need a license to lease a suite, but they cannot have a shampoo bowl in the suite and may not wash hair, tools, extensions, or products in any building sink. Braiders must hold the Kentucky licenses, registrations, and liability insurance that apply to their work.

Suites are run as independent businesses, with each tenant setting its own hours and handling its own work while the building covers facility upkeep.
