Blends by Alexis is a private salon suite business in Woodridge, run by its owner and stylist, Alexis. The suite is on the upper floor of the building, reached by the stairs and the third door on the left down the hallway on the right. Parking is in the main lot in front of the large S.A.S.S. sign, which faces Route 53. The suite is shared with another business, but Alexis is the only one working during appointments, so each visit is one-on-one.

Hair services cover lived-in color, balayage, dimensional highlights, cuts, and beaded weft extensions. Balayage is not sold as a separate service; it is part of almost every color appointment, and the dimensional color section of the booking site is the place to start for a sun-kissed result. Extension clients have a separate consultation at least seven days before the install, and hair for extensions is priced apart from the service. Appointments run from about one hour to four or more hours, and the time estimate is given at booking. Music plays in the suite during the visit.

Bridal makeup is offered in the suite or on location, with a travel fee based on mileage for on-site bookings. It has its own booking site. Formal bridal hair styling is not offered at this time.

Products are limited to the Davines line, which the business describes as committed to sustainability and clean ingredients. Color services carry a product fee of $15 to $30. Clients who pay by Zelle or cash receive a small discount. A complimentary 15-minute consultation is available before booking, and the Whole Lot-O-Hair add-on allows extra time and product for long or thick hair.

Booking requires a card on file rather than a deposit. The business asks for at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule; changes inside that window carry a 50% service fee, which can be applied to a later visit if the appointment is moved.
