Blend Hair Studio is a private studio just outside downtown Valparaiso, Indiana, on the third floor of its building at 1150 West Lincolnway. The studio has two separate entrances and the building has over 150 parking spots. The studio says it aims to uplift and empower women and to be a space where clients feel accepted and safe to express themselves.

The building dates to 1813. It was first used as a glass factory, later became a community college in the 1900s, was renovated recently, and now houses many small businesses.

A full head of foils with toner, blow dry and style takes about 285 minutes and starts at $250, with two bowls of lightener included and extra bowls at $15 each. A partial blonding of a half head takes about 225 minutes from $175 and includes one bowl of lightener. Face frame blonding uses 8 to 10 face-framing foils with a toner and blowout, about 150 minutes from $140. All-over color includes root touchups, grey coverage, gloss and toner, a root refresh that covers only the roots, and creative color for vibrant looks and color blocking, which varies by look and starts at $270. Extensions include one, two and three row installs and a mini moveup for maintenance between reinstalls. Women's haircuts take about 90 minutes at $65, and blowouts and formal styles are available.

Visits are scheduled in advance. Color and extension consultations are about 30 minutes each and carry no charge. Buy Now Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval required before the appointment. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment incur a fee of 50 percent of the service booked, and arriving 15 minutes or more late can result in a no-show cancellation fee. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100, $200 or a custom amount and are final once sold. The studio is open Wednesday and Thursday 9 AM to 6:30 PM, Friday 9 AM to 4 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM, and is closed Monday, Tuesday and Sunday.
