The salon says it puts customized color and services ahead of one-size-fits-all results, with a focus on education, hair integrity and the client experience. Blonding is one of the salon's core specialties, and the team offers balayage, foil work, babylights and lived-in blondes. Lived-in color is built around dimension and softness so the color grows out gradually. The salon also does corrective color for uneven tone, unwanted shades or results from another salon. Some corrections are finished in one visit and others take several sessions. Color Correction may need a consultation before booking. Clients who are unsure what they need can start with a consultation, where stylists recommend a service and a maintenance plan.

Beyond the main salon, The Scalp Spa and The Studios are at 1D Commons Drive in Building D, across the street from the main salon. Rossi's Barbershop is also in Building D. It began in 2017 as The Shop within Blank Canvas Salon and moved to a larger space across the street in 2022. The Studios is a salon space where independent stylists run their own businesses. Studio 3 rents for $355 per week and Studio 7 for $285 per week, and tours are arranged by email.

Before any cut or color, stylists look at where a client is starting from, including their past hair treatments, the current state of their hair, how they live day to day, how much upkeep they want, and what they hope their hair looks like over time. Clients are free to book with whichever stylist's skills best match those aims.
