Bisous Esthetics opened in 2024 on Cesar Chavez Street, directly across from Juan in a Million. Owner Ashley Moody is a licensed esthetician, and the salon describes itself as a boutique spa experience.
The studio's Korean-inspired facials put skin barrier health ahead of aggressive correction. Each treatment is customized to a client's skin type and concerns, and every product used in a facial is chosen for its stated scientific backing. The salon calls its facials results-driven. For sensitive or rosacea-prone skin, it recommends the Ultimate Custom Facial with Celluma light therapy or the Korean Glass Skin Facial. The FAQ suggests most people book a professional facial every 4 to 6 weeks, or every 2 to 4 weeks for oily or acne-prone skin during breakouts.
Before a visit, clients receive an emailed online form covering skin type, concerns, goals and relevant health history. On arrival, guests receive a spa wrap and sandals and can use complimentary amenities. Private parking is available behind the building, reached by a small sidewalk beside it. Clients are asked to reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours ahead, or a $75 cancellation fee may apply. A 30-minute Skin Consultation is $125 and includes a $50 credit toward any service booked that day; the fee is waived for those who enroll in the Clear Skin Journey.
Signature offerings include the Korean Glass Skin Facial, a 75-minute oxygen facial at $179 that the salon describes as its most-requested facial, and PDRN and EGF nano-needling infusions. The Sculpted Lift is a microcurrent facial for the face, neck, eyes and lips, and the salon describes its microcurrent device as FDA-cleared. Microcurrent facials are not offered to people who are pregnant, have a pacemaker or implanted electronic device, have epilepsy or a history of seizures, have active cancer, have metal implants in the head or neck, have recent facial surgery, open wounds, active skin infections or severe acne. The Face Reality Clear Skin Journeys, 60-day at $999 and 90-day at $1,495, pair the Face Reality Clear Skin Method with professional acne treatments, customized homecare and ongoing guidance.
The boutique sells Face Reality, Glymed Plus, Korean skincare, Pomp Beauty, Patchology, NEOM and Mediheal products, both in store and online, along with gift cards and a loyalty program. Unopened, unused items with intact seals can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Online orders ship by USPS Priority within 24 to 48 hours.
Treatments are customized to each client's skin type and concerns, and the Korean-inspired facials focus on skin barrier health rather than aggressive correction. Products are chosen for stated scientific backing.
