Beyond The Mane Studio

Kelsey Ryan opened Beyond The Mane Studio in 2017 after working her way up from assistant to owner. She is the studio's solo stylist, so appointments are with her.

The studio is known for blonde and color services. Its stated priorities are scalp care, healthy hair foundations, and color meant to last. Kelsey also gives clients guidance on caring for their hair at home as well as in the salon.

New clients start with a 60-minute consultation at $50. Other options include Color & Blowout with no haircut (120 minutes, $165), Color with Haircut & Blowout (120 minutes, $195, including a single-process root touch-up and ends), The Statement (210 minutes, $225, with custom foil placement around the face), Partial Experience (240 minutes, starting at $330, with custom lightening, root melt, trim and style), and Full Experience (300 minutes, $490, with custom lightening, root melt, a haircut if needed and style). Deposits are required for these services, vary by service, are non-refundable, and are applied at the appointment.

Booking comes with a few rules. Cancellations need at least 48 hours notice. A missed appointment without contact is a no-show, charged 95% of the service total at the 15th minute. Arriving more than 7 minutes late also counts as a no-show and cancels the appointment. Each appointment allows up to two reschedules. Children and guests are not permitted. Clients are asked to bring headphones and step out of the salon for phone calls. Color services cannot be returned or exchanged, and gift card sales are final. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment.

The studio puts scalp health and sound hair foundations first, with color planned to hold up over time.
