Beth Watson Hair Studio

Beth Watson Hair Studio is run by Beth Watson in McKinney, Texas. The main studio is inside IMAGE Studios Salon Suites on Collin McKinney Parkway, and there is a second location at Salons by JC on South Custer Road. At the IMAGE Studios location, clients can park on the street or in the parking garage and enter through the door labeled IMAGE STUDIOS. The studio sits across from the memorial park, on the corner opposite a Mexican restaurant. Listed hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9am to 3pm.

The studio focuses on Natural Beaded Rows hair extension installation, which uses no glue or tape. The extensions are ISLA Hand-Tied Hair, a 100% Remy hair line designed for this method, described as having less silicone, pre-rooted and pre-toned color, an intact cuticle, and double-drawn lengths. The studio says the method is the leading hand-tied extension system, does minimal damage to natural hair, may help long-term hair health, holds curls well, is less oily than most natural hair, and can be worn in a ponytail without showing.

Color is custom-matched to both the extension hair and the client's natural hair. Appointment length depends on how much color work the natural hair needs. Each visit includes styling instruction and guidance on washing routines and on which hair care products to use and avoid. A photo shoot is offered at the end of each Natural Beaded Rows appointment. Removal takes about 10 minutes.
