Bellwether Salon works out of Suite 2 at the Charles River Speedway in Brighton. The salon describes its team as small and experienced, and its studio as relaxed. Appointments are personalized and collaborative, with the team working closely with each client on the result.

Services cover modern haircuts, color, everyday styling, bangs and fringe trims, and bridal and event hair, which can be done on site or at the salon. All services are priced by the hour, and pricing is adjusted if a service regularly needs more time than was booked. Color is offered, though the salon is only accepting a limited number of new color clients.

Booking is by appointment only, Wednesday through Saturday from 11am to 6:30pm. New appointments open on the 1st and 15th of each month at 10am, with bookings available 10 to 12 weeks ahead, and the online booking system includes a waiting list. A card must be stored to secure an appointment, but it is not charged until the visit is complete. Cancellations made 48 or more hours ahead carry no fee, while later cancellations are charged in full. Clients running more than 10 minutes late should contact the salon, or the appointment may be forfeited and charged in full.

To find the salon, enter through Gate 1 on Western Ave and walk into the interior courtyard. There is a guest lot on Western Ave and street parking along parts of the street, plus limited parking behind the Charles River Community Health building that opens at set times on weekday evenings and weekends. The Speedway is served by the 70, 70A, 86 and 64 bus routes. The salon has no restroom of its own, but two public restrooms in the courtyard are open to all Speedway guests.
