Laser hair removal is a core service, offered for women and men across many areas from the underarms and legs to the face, ears, nose and feet. A course usually runs 6 to 12 treatments, spaced four to eight weeks apart, and needs no recovery time. Before a session, clients are asked to avoid self-tanners, tanning beds and long sun exposure for two weeks. Waxing, tweezing or bleaching the area should stop four weeks ahead, with shaving used instead. Lotions, creams, perfume, makeup and deodorant should also be kept off the treatment area beforehand.
Skin care covers acne, aging skin and skin irregularities. Chemical peels use salicylic or glycolic acid for acne and glycolic or lactic acid for aging skin, and the medical-grade peels include SkinCeuticals and SkinMedica products. Other options include microdermabrasion with a diamond-tip machine, dermaplaning with a medical scalpel, a vitamin C facial and microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, which is offered for all skin types and can be combined with dermaplaning or microdermabrasion.
Skin consultations are complimentary. A customized facial is designed after the aesthetician assesses the client's skin and goals, and upgrades are available. The Acne Facial includes exfoliation, extractions, a treatment masque and a massage with cool globes. Extractions can be booked alone or added to most treatments.
