Shampoo is part of the base price for braid services, and clients typically have three to five shampoos during one visit. The salon says it is among the few braiding businesses that wash hair and include shampoo in base pricing. Free consultations of about 15 minutes are available before booking.

Booking opens quarterly and happens in two steps: an online booking, then an intake form that must be completed at least 48 hours before the appointment. The intake form is also where clients choose the length, color and curled ends for knotless braids, or add human hair to Island Twists. Touch-ups are recommended every four to eight weeks depending on braid size and require either two perimeter rows or three to four front rows taken down and detangled beforehand.

Appointments are available Friday from 2 PM to 10 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 10 PM; the salon is closed Monday through Thursday. Braid times vary by style, so clients are asked to book only when they have no tight time constraints. The salon accepts a maximum of five appointments per week. Payment is digital only, with major debit and credit cards, tap pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Afterpay and Klarna accepted, and cash not accepted.

Cancelling less than 24 hours before an appointment carries a $25 fee, and three consecutive cancellations or reschedules lead to a ban from future bookings. Clients arriving 15 minutes late may have the appointment cancelled or rescheduled at the braider's discretion, and early arrivals wait in their vehicle until their time. Only clients being serviced may be inside the salon, and children must be able to sit through their appointment with few distractions. Appointments starting or ending outside regular hours carry a $75 convenience fee. Refunds are given at the braider's discretion, and by consenting to a service, clients also agree to being photographed and having photos posted.
