Beli Nails opened to the public on November 28, 2023. It grew out of Esbat Nails, a solo salon run by Lizzi Styslinger that outgrew its space in early 2023. Lizzi now co-owns Beli with her sister, Beck Gallagher.

About

The salon says its goal is client satisfaction, and it commits to treating everyone in the salon with equal respect. The salon is on the second floor, reached by about 20 steps with no elevator. Paid street and lot parking is directly in front on Commercial Avenue, payable with coins or the ParkMobile app.

Nail art is sorted into levels, and appointment length depends on both the level and the artist. Minimal art is four nails with simple designs, about 2 hours 15 minutes with level 1 artists and about 1 hour 30 minutes with level 2 and above. More than minimal art adds detail and covers more than four nails, taking about 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours. All the art puts detailed work on every nail, and extreme art suits intricate or themed sets and needs inspiration photos before booking.

Clients who prefer not to choose a design can book a freestyle set, where the artist picks the look. GelX extensions add length to existing nails, and the salon asks clients to text a photo of their nails before booking because GelX does not suit everyone. Structured gel is for natural-length nails.

The salon does not offer acrylic, dip, regular polish or pedicures, and it does not take children. Manicures are for people 16 and older, and clients aged 16 to 17 must be accompanied by a guardian. Payment is accepted by cash, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo and PayPal, but not by check. Services are not refunded, though issues reported within 7 days are fixed at no charge.
