The studio was founded by Camellia Valenciano, who focuses on women with textured and natural hair while welcoming clients of every hair texture. The studio aims to help clients build a hair care routine that continues between visits, and the stylists take time to explain what makes each client's hair distinct.

The menu covers signature blowouts, silk presses for adults and children, braids, twists and braid removal, color from root touch-ups to all-over color, trims and pixie cuts, relaxer services, a thermal smoothing treatment, Olaplex add-ons, and tape-in and K-Tip extensions. Monthly packages and two membership plans spread regular services across the month and add perks such as product discounts and treatments.

New clients, and clients who have not been serviced in 12 weeks, need to book a service labeled New Client. Most services require a deposit between $10 and $75, K-Tip requires a $1,000 deposit, and silk press deposits are $25 and non-refundable. Cancellations and reschedules must be made online, with email accepted only outside the cancellation window. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000 and requires approval before the appointment.
