Beauty Love Alchemy was launched in Morgan Hill in 2016 by its owner, Sherry, and a second studio opened in Paso Robles in 2025. Both studios operate inside SOLA SALON, and the business is built around working closely with each guest rather than running a busy salon floor.
Guests are seen one at a time in a private beauty suite. Every appointment starts with a consultation about the guest's current style and goals. Each service then includes a detoxifying cleanse, a conditioning treatment chosen for the guest's hair type, a precision cut, a blowout and a personalized home care plan to take home.
Color is done with Calura, an ammonia- and PPD-free system made by Oligo, which the salon describes as containing certified organic essences and keratin-based chemistry. Offerings include balayage and babylights without toner, full and partial highlights, toners, color touch-ups, and color correction. Keratin smoothing, which the salon says can last for months, and permanent straightening are also available, along with OptiSmooth treatments that either keep a modern movement or relax curls into waves.
Perms include beachy waves, classic curls and spiral curls. Perms need a consultation before booking, which can be done by phone with a photo of current hair and the desired look, or in studio. Perm prices do not include a haircut, and guests are asked to wait 48 hours before washing afterward and to use sulfate-free products on color-treated hair. Tape-in extensions use 100% human hair applied without heat, glue or crimped rings, with a custom package and care guide. Perms and extensions cannot be booked online.
According to the salon, it has been ranked among the Top 10 salons in Morgan Hill on Yelp. New guests can reserve a complimentary studio visit or request a virtual consultation by text, and most clients book several months ahead.
Each appointment is personalized and one-on-one, beginning with a consultation about the guest's current style and goals.
