Sherry

Sherry owns Beauty Love Alchemy and works as its Master Hair Designer and an educator. She has over 30 years of experience in hair. Before opening her own studio, she owned and operated Alchemy Hair Studio & Spa, an AVEDA concept salon in San Jose, from 1997 to 2015. She also spent time as a California educator for a national haircare brand, teaching cutting, finishing, color and texture chemistry. She is an instructor for RUSK Academy, teaching color and chemistry. She trained at AVEDA Academy and Technical Arts Institute.

Her work centers on cutting, correcting complex color, smoothing treatments and curl work. Clients typically book several months in advance, and she personally checks open times for guests who reach out by text or phone and tries to fit them in when she can.
