Beauty Lab was opened in 2026 by Luis Reyes, who owns the salon and works as a hairstylist, master colorist and extension specialist. According to the salon, the goal is high-end hair services close to home, so clients in the Haverhill area do not need to travel to Boston or New York.

The salon's philosophy is that luxury should feel welcoming rather than intimidating. The space is described as high-end, creative and comfortable. According to the salon, every stylist and esthetician was chosen for skill, dedication and knowledge.

Color correction is offered for corrective work.

The salon is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm, Friday from 10 am to 9 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 10 pm. Monday is by appointment only and Sunday is closed. Cancellations or reschedules made 48 hours or more ahead are not charged; less notice is charged 50 percent of the service, and less than 24 hours or a no-show is charged in full. Children should not accompany guests unless they have their own appointment. Clients who are unhappy with a service should tell the salon within 7 days. Slightly used retail products can be returned within 14 days for a refund or exchange credit, while tools such as blow dryers and hot tools are final sale.
