In-person consultations last about 25 minutes and cover hair goals, lifestyle, maintenance plans and questions. A small deposit is due at booking and is applied to the total. Prices for loc starts are higher for hair 10 inches or longer and for thicker hair, so a consultation is needed to confirm the price before booking.

The menu runs from starter locs for adults and children ages 4 to 10, and instant locs on a half head or full head, to microbraid locs for adults and kids, which require a consultation first. Maintenance includes washes, palm roll retwists, interlocking and styling, with detoxification washes recommended at least once a year. Specialty services cover loc repair and reattachment, loc adornments, deep conditioning, hot oil treatment, protein treatment, scalp cleansing, bead installations and loc takedown.

Beyond locs, the studio lists box braids, Senegalese and passion twists, kinky twists, space buns, double twists, bantu knots, twist outs, roller sets and plait braids. Children's services are available for kids up to age 10.

Scheduling terms are set out in writing. Appointments can be rescheduled without penalty up to 24 hours ahead, with the deposit moved to the new time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment forfeit the deposit, and no-shows without notice forfeit it too. Repeated no-shows may require full payment upfront for future bookings. Unavoidable emergencies are considered case by case if the studio is contacted as soon as possible. Changes are handled by phone or email, and the studio is closed on major holidays.
