The studio is at 486 North Main Street, Suite 24 in Royal Oak. It is a women-focused hair studio where hair care, styling, color, extension work and custom wigs are all handled in-house, with the aim of a high-end salon experience.

Raven B., the owner, is a licensed cosmetologist who worked as a celebrity and traveling stylist before opening the studio. Her specialties are natural hair care, color, bridal work, hair extension weaving and custom wigs.

Hair care services include AMIKA mask and scalp treatments, Pink Charcoal scalp cleanses with optional steam and trim-and-style versions, and several silk press combinations. The studio uses Olaplex products in several services and describes its Olaplex silk press as its most popular service.

For extensions, the studio uses B'X HAIRESS hair bundles for sew-ins, braid-down installs and Micro-Link installs. Micro-Links require a consultation before booking and a $100 deposit that holds the date and time; an install takes about 4 to 4.5 hours depending on hair length and fullness. Custom wig units are made by the owner with B'X HAIRESS hair, and a wig consultation is an in-person 30-minute meeting with a $100 deposit due at booking and a turnaround of 5 to 7 business days. Quick weaves and some sew-ins require clients to bring their own hair.

Bridal clients can book a Luxe Brides bridal trial for $120. Day-of styling for a bridal party is quoted in a detailed contract after an email inquiry. The studio also sells cotton apparel, including T-shirts, a crewneck and a dad hat, priced from $12 to $35; all apparel sales are final.

Aims for a high-end salon experience for women clients, with natural hair care at the center of the work.
