BB's Hive opened in 2021 and was founded by Bryan B. Rice, who owns it. The salon describes its visits as one-on-one with a luxury feel, and it aims to pair that polish with a fun, relaxed time in the chair.

The salon is on the lower level of the building. Clients enter through the right-side door by following the honeycomb sidewalk. Parking is free in front of the home. Clients are invited to bring photos or ideas to their appointment, and the team will try to fit in late arrivals, though very late clients may need to rebook. If a client is not fully happy with a service, they can call to talk through options.

The salon offers cuts, styling, color and texture, and bridal services. Hours run Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with Saturdays by appointment only and the salon closed on Sundays and Mondays. Clients can contact the salon to arrange other times. Cash, check, Venmo and gift certificates are accepted, and gift certificates are available. Prices are subject to change.
