About
Bryan B. Rice is the owner and founder of BB's Hive, which opened in 2021. He has over 30 years of experience, beginning with a first salon job at The Barbers in Grand Forks in 1984 and 1985.
He trained at Mr. Don's State College of Beauty in Fargo from 1982 to 1983, and at an academy in Toronto in 1984, where he studied under Martin Parson. His career includes work at Avant in downtown Minneapolis from 1985 to 1986, and hair and makeup for Miss North Dakota at the Miss American Pageant in 1987. He worked at H Design and other independent Minneapolis salons from 1987 to 1991, modeled in Europe in 1990 and 1991, and founded and owned Artistry of Time salon from 1992 to 1999. From 2000 to 2020 he worked at other independent Minneapolis salons.
