Bare Skincare is a woman-owned studio and spa in Splendora. Its menu spans facials for one person or for pairs, lightening treatments for several body areas, brow and lash tinting, and waxing from the face down to the legs and intimate areas.

Visits are by appointment only, Tuesday through Friday from 11 AM to 7 PM, with the studio closed Monday, Saturday and Sunday. Booking requires a deposit of 50 percent of the service cost. That amount is applied to the price at the appointment and is not refundable. Cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice or not showing up forfeits the deposit, which also serves as the cancellation fee. Buy Now, Pay Later can be arranged in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Gift card sales are final.

The facial menu runs from a 30-minute Express facial to a 60-minute Classic facial. Express covers double cleansing, skin analysis, an exfoliating enzyme mask, extractions, a hydrating mask, massage of the hands, arms, neck and shoulders, serums, moisturizer, SPF and a lip treatment, finished with an essential oil steam towel. The Classic follows the same sequence with longer massage time. Bestie, Couple, Mommy & Me and Daddy & Me facials are 60-minute sessions made of two Express facials, and the parent-child versions can be tailored with products for teens and children. Guests 21 and older may request a complimentary glass of peach wine during a facial.

Lightening treatments cover the face, underarms, chest, elbows, knees, inner thighs, the anal area, and bikini and Brazilian areas, along with a Bryght Spot treatment for spots up to 2 inches in 30 minutes. Most body lightening sessions are $85 and take 30 to 60 minutes, and hair must be removed beforehand. The spot treatment is described as antioxidant-rich and suitable for external use anywhere on the body. Medical-Grade Intimate Bleaching is a single 60-minute clinical session at $750 using the Dermamelan Intimate treatment, addressing hyperpigmentation in the groin, inner thighs and perianal region.

Waxing is priced by area, from $10 for lip areas to $65 for a full face and $85 for full legs, which takes 120 minutes. The Bare Brazilian is $65 for 60 minutes and covers front, back and the butt strip, while the Male Brazilian is $75 for 60 minutes. The Bare Treatment package is $200 for 150 minutes and includes eyebrows, upper and lower lip, chin, underarms, the Brazilian area and full legs. Vattoos, temporary tattoos for the pubic area or another chosen spot, are $10 for 10 minutes. Vagacial and Penacial are 30-minute, $45 treatments using an exfoliating cleanser, clay mask and hydrating lotion aimed at ingrown hairs, with hand and arm massage and essential oil steam towels; spacing between bikini waxes of one to two weeks is recommended.
