Every visit starts with a consultation about what the client needs. An in-salon conditioning treatment is recommended at each visit, and stylists suggest at-home care before the client rebooks. The front desk is virtual, and clients book, reschedule and cancel through the online booking platform, with a confirmation email, a reminder email three days ahead and a text one day before. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, otherwise 50% of the service total is charged. Clients can also join a cancellation list by emailing the salon.

The salon sits about one block from the Tenleytown-AU Metro station on the red line, and street parking is available within a few blocks. All major credit cards are accepted; tips are cash only.

Product lines include all-natural color, shampoo, conditioners, treatments and styling products. Brands carried are Kevin Murphy, Davines, and O&M and Oway, which are also sold online. Davines products are made in Parma, Italy. O&M and Oway are listed at 98.5% to 100% natural origin and NATRUE certified. Kevin Murphy ammonia-free color is used in the studio. The salon says it favors renewable and sustainable ingredients, and naturally derived ingredients where possible.

Each visit begins with a consultation, followed by a recommended in-salon conditioning treatment and at-home care between appointments. Stylists work as independent artists in a shared studio, and the focus is healthy hair with minimal maintenance.
